Sony a7SII Mirrorless Digital Camera

The Sony a7SII builds on the reputation of the a7S with the ability to record UHD internally. The camera also features an internal image stabilization system for better hand-held recording. The a7SII can record UHD at 30 fps and HD at 120 fps. The camera features Sony S-Log2 and S-Log3 to increase dynamic range and Gamma Display Assist (LUT) to preview these in ITU709 gamma. The camera operates in 14 bit color depth, while recording in AVCHD, MP4 and XAVC S formats. Both PL and EF lenses can be fitted to the a7SII e-Mount with adapters.

The DVX200 uses a Four-Thirds sensor along with a Leica Dicomar 13X fixed lens. The camera has 12 stops of dynamic range using Panasonic’s V-Log L gamma curve. It records 4K, UHD and HD to 2 SD cards. The lens has manual control of focus, zoom and iris, along with a rocker for servo zoom and internal ND filters. The camera outputs 10 bit, 4:2:2 via HDMI and HDSDI connectors. Internally the DVX200 records in MOV/MP4 and AVCHD formats up to 120 fps in HD. A Dual Codec recording function allows both UHD and HD simultaneous recordings.

Video Devices PIX-E7 4K Recorder/Monitor

The E7 is a ProRes recorder capable of 4K, UHD and HD recording up to 4444 XQ quality. It can record HD up to 120 fps. The unit features HDMI and HDSDI loop thrus and two 500G USB3 SpeedDrives, able to go from recorder to computer directly, without the need for any reader or adapter. The 1920 x 1200 resolution touchscreen offers a wide variety of options and controls. The E7 also has the ability to record an SD card HD H.264 file along with the main record.
